Choir Rehearsal Online
"Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation." (Ps. 111:1)
Welcome to our online site devoted to St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church parishioners wishing to rehearse the hymns of the upcoming Sunday worship services at home. The following hymns are offered by Fr. George Tsahakis to assist your efforts. He appreciates your willingness to learn these hymns and thanks you for your patience and support of this ministry. May God bless you always.
Thanks to those who have been supporting our Liturgical Music Review for ALL parishioners series. We had well-attended and successful sessions on 8/25 and 9/1, and our next opportunity will be on Thursday, October 6th, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. In this third session, we will be reviewing the special hymns for the month of October, the hymns for a Hierarchical Liturgy (when Metropolitan Alexios visits), and the new Cherubic Hymn. Mark your calendars now and plan to devote your time and priority to learning our hymns and practices related to chanting and serving as a choir member. Fr. George is deeply appreciative for your support and commitment.
Welcome

Special Note of Thanks - Fr. George would like to thank Faye Georgeo for this special web initiative! Due to the travel distance from her home that prevents her from attending choir practices, she encouraged Fr. George to record the music and add it to our parish website to assist those who could not be present during our weekly practices. We encourage everyone to attend choir practices if you are able. Many thanks for Faye's generous donation of the digital recorder. Thanks to everyone who participates in this ministry.
Glory to God!
